Sam & JC's Elopement

Fort Troy, NY

Photography, editing, directing, creative direction.

Sam and JC’s elopement was full of lightness, laughter, and love. They chose Fort Troy for its quiet charm and open space, wanting something simple and true to who they are.

From the moment we started, they were completely in sync—laughing, holding hands, sneaking glances at each other that said everything without a word. Their ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, surrounded by a few close friends and nature all around us.

We wandered the fort’s grassy paths, chasing golden light and soaking in the moment. There was no rush, no pressure—just joy. They even danced barefoot in the grass as the sun started to set.

It was the kind of day that reminds you how beautiful love can be when it’s allowed to simply be.

Sam and JC chose Fort Troy for its quiet charm—a place where they could slow down and be fully present with each other. From the moment we met, there was an ease between them that set the tone for the whole day.

Their ceremony was small, just a handful of loved ones, but it felt full. Full of meaning, of laughter, of that quiet kind of joy that doesn’t need much to shine. They held hands, read their vows through happy tears, and smiled like they couldn’t believe how lucky they were to have found each other.

We wandered through the fort together, stopping whenever something felt right—a soft breeze, golden light, a shared look. There was no performance, just the beauty of two people deeply in love.

It was tender, calm, and full of little moments that made it unforgettable. The kind of day that lingers with you, long after the sun sets.
